Forty International Election observers from 13 countries will monitor the upcoming Presidential Elections, the Observer group said today at a press conference in Colombo. They further added that 25 Districts will be covered by the observers.
According to Wei-Ta Pan, Commissioner, Central Elections Commission there will be limitations to their monitoring as there are 11,000 polling stations across the island.
